Therefore, accurately calculating the torque range of the torque limiter and the torque value to be set is the key to the correct selection and use of the torque limiter. If the torque setting is too small, the torque limiter will be disengaged before the overload occurs, and the power cannot be transmitted normally. If the torque setting value is too large, the torque limiter will not disengage when an overload occurs, which may cause damage to the machinery and equipment.
Method one:
In the case of knowing the operating torque parameters of the drive train, you can select the torque range and torque setting value as shown in the following figure.
